Sour Cherry and Bourbon Glazed Ribs

Ribs like you’ve never had ribs! We dress these tender pork spareribs with a crazy-good homemade glaze featuring our signature DeLallo Sour Cherry Spread and a splash of Bourbon. Who needs barbecue sauce when you can fancy up your ribs with this easy-to-prepare sticky sweet, tangy-tart glaze?

Ingredients

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Preheat grill.
  • Rub ribs with salt and pepper and place on grill to get a good sear on both sides.
  • Remove from grill and place ribs on a large baking sheet and cover.
  • Place ribs in the oven for 40 minutes without opening the door.
  • Reduce oven to 250°F and cook for 1 ½ hours.
  • Meanwhile, place cherry spread, honey, Bourbon, balsamic and mint in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Pull ribs out of oven and remove cover. Brush glaze on both sides of ribs and cook for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and let rest covered in foil for 5-10 minutes. Brush more sauce on ribs if desired and serve.
