Hot Pepper Garlic Chorizo Cheeseburger

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound fresh chorizo sausage, casings removed
- 1 cup of freshly shredded colby jack cheese
- DeLallo Hot Pepper Garlic Sauce, for topping
- Salt, to taste
- Brioche buns
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium sized bowl, gently mix together meats with your hands, careful not to overwork it. Form into thin patties and set aside.
- Heat up a cast iron skillet (or outdoor grill) to medium high heat. Once the skillet is hot, place the patty on the skillet and brown both sides then turn the heat down to medium low and cook until desired doneness.
- To assemble the burgers: place patty on the bottom of a brioche bun, top with cheese and hot pepper garlic sauce. Season with salt, to taste.
